Hi Im Leyah!

I’m thrilled you’re here! I’m Leyah Williams—yes, just like Star Wars. Born and raised in Oklahoma, I’ve recently started spending my school year living in Colorado. My love for dogs and the mountains is what draws me to split my time between these two places. With 7 years of dog training experience under my belt, I’m also a college freshman majoring in political science. It’s an unexpected combo, but my passions truly lie in both dogs and politics. A few fun facts about me: I’m the youngest of three and an Enneagram 7.

How I train:

I do whatever it takes to achieve the best results for the dog. My process begins with a thorough analysis of the dog’s daily life—breaking down every detail to understand what’s really going on and what factors are influencing their behavior. It’s a truly holistic approach, considering environment, routine, health, and emotional state all at once. From there, we identify which behaviors are problematic and which habits need reshaping. Just like people, every dog has their issues—challenges, quirks, and baggage that affect how they act. The key is not to judge but to recognize these factors and develop tailored strategies to work with the dog’s unique situation, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and harmony.
